~* Hanging Baskets *~

I wanted to share pictures of my hanging baskets. The picture below was taken on May 19th, 2009. I remember when I bought them (I have three others) and thought they looked pretty good...
Here's the same hanging basket on July 11th! I'm amazed at how big it's gotten. I swear (well, not really...LOL) by Miracle Grow Bloom Booster. I water the baskets every day, sometimes twice if it's really hot out. I also try to cut the dead blooms off every day, too.
Thanks for stopping by to take a look...enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Thanks to all of you who visited and commented on my last post about my new bunting for the porch...I really appreciate it!

I love hanging baskets, there's just something about them that makes them special to me. But where we are now the deer and elk would have easy access to them.

They really have grown! Really gorgeous. I can't wait to have a place where I can have hanging baskets again some day and this time I'll know how to keep them beautiful. Thanks!

How lovely! I didn't make any hanging baskets this year and didn't plant my railing boxes either. Maybe next year.

Love how your porch looks!

Beautiful baskets! I try and cut off the dead blooms too. I think it also just makes for a prettier basket.

You make keeping those hanging baskets looking "luxurious" sound simple enough that I might actually try. I have given up, but see that probably I don't fertilize and water enough. I've jotted down your "formula" for next year. Thanks for sharing the pictures & instructions.

Kim's always had a green thumb. I wish she'd pass some of that color onto me. My hanging baskets never look like hers.

Gorgeous hanging basket, Kim! Do you have a problem with wrens wanting to nest in them? I do. I no longer get my baskets hung on a hook when there is a nest with eggs. Trying to water around it all can be quite tricky.

KIM, I love your hanging baskets, they are about one of the few things I can keep alive in the" no
rain and heat" we are having.

Hope things are ok at your house.

Purple hugs,
Barbara

Your baskets are very lovely!! Mine are suffering from the high heat and the fact that I may have overwatered them to compensate.

I hope you are having a great summer!
